Internal Auditor
About the vacancy
The company is currently seeking a motivated colleague to fill the position of Internal Auditor to assist and report to the Senior Internal Auditor. Location Hilversum.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Performing JSox compliance audits on behalf of the corporate office;
- Performing integrated financial audits on behalf of the external auditors;
- The drafting of findings and/or advisory reports;
- An advisory role, for example regarding internal control, compliance with local and international legislature.
- An internationally recognized university degree is required. Possession of or a willingness to obtain certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner and/or Certified Internal Auditor is a clear advantage;
- Prior financial audit experience and a clear understanding of internal control is required with experience at a Big 4, as an Internal Auditor at a listed multinational and/or experience within a Sox environment being a clear advantage;
- An excellent command of the English language and a working knowledge of the Dutch language are required.
Personality and qualities
You have the core competencies of flexibility, independence, accuracy, result oriented, taking initiative and seeking collaboration. Given the complex and demanding nature of the work involved, you should possess strong communication skills and an ability to work independently. Strong analytical and organizational skills and a critical attitude are essential as well as unquestionable integrity and discretion.
